Role Description:
As an Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will be the key point of contact between customers and the agency’s sales staff. Your role will involve building relationships with customers and providing top-tier customer support. You will also assist the agency team with day-to-day tasks and help grow the agency.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain customer relationships, following up as needed.
- Conduct a needs-based review process to educate customers about their insurance options.
- Provide personalized, professional customer service to build trust and strong relationships.
- Handle customer inquiries about coverages, billing, claims, and policy changes.
- Schedule appointments with customers for agency staff.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer service experience is required.
- Ability to relate to customers, answer their questions, and anticipate their needs.
- Excellent communication skills for assisting customers and collaborating with the team.
- Proficiency in PC software applications (Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer).
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
Compensation:
- Base pay range: $15.00 – $17.00 per hour.
- Median pay: $16.00 per hour.
